Strain-reinforced treatment process for storage tank plates
JB4732 “Steel Pressure Vessels – Analytical Design Standards” is the first industry standard for the analytical design of pressure vessels in China, the basic idea is the same as ASME Ⅷ-2. Compared to GB150, JB4732 allows for a higher design stress strength, and manufacturers can strain-reinforce the chuchug tank plates. This means that, under the same design conditions, the thickness of the vessel can be thinned and the weight reduced.
