Structure and materials of cryogenic argon tank
Inner tank design: The inner tank is the core part of the cryogenic argon tank for storing liquid argon gas. It is usually made of austenitic stainless steel with good low-temperature performance. This material will not become brittle under low-temperature conditions and has sufficient strength and toughness.
Insulation layer construction: The insulation layer is located between the inner tank and the outer tank. Its main function is to reduce heat transfer and keep the tank low temperature.
Outer tank material: As the outer shell of the cryogenic argon tank, the outer tank must withstand various external loads. Depending on the use area and needs, the outer tank material can be frozen soil wall, steel wall, reinforced concrete wall or prestressed concrete wall.
