The role of the vaporizer

A cryogenic storage tank is a pressure vessel used to store various cryogenic liquids. Therefore, its safe use rules should take into account factors such as gas risk characteristics, cryogenic protection effects, surrounding environmental conditions, and pressure vessel characteristics.

The reservoir and vaporizer are the two fundamental parts of all liquid oxygen systems. High concentration oxygen is supplied to the oxygen user by a liquid oxygen system.

As the propane picks up the heat it is transformed from a liquid to a vapor. The rate this occurs is based on the flow rate of the propane entering the bath and the amount of heat being introduced. All of these functions are controlled by a programmable logic control (PLC) located in the control cabinet of the unit. Safety features keep the system functioning properly and both input and output pressures and temperatures are monitored by the PLC.

The rate of vaporization is determined by the amount of heat that is transferred into the LPG gas, and the proper vaporizer provides a steady supply of vaporized gas when required.
