Elimination of residual stress: after welding stress relief heat treatment, it can effectively prevent the occurrence of hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion. In addition, the LPG storage tanks after welding assembly must be treated to eliminate residual stress.
Regular cleaning: The moisture and residues in the tanks are cleaned regularly to avoid chemical corrosion caused by long time residence of oxides.
Annealing process: In the processing and manufacturing process, annealing process is used to eliminate the internal residual tensile stress, thus reducing the possibility of stress corrosion.
