If oxygen encounters an open flame, it has a strong combustion-supporting property. The tank valve and valve mouth are stained with grease, which will cause a fire when it comes in contact with some pressure of oxygen. Once the liquid oxygen storage tank leaks and encounters flammable gas at close range, it is easy to explode chemically. Overpressure in the tank, or the tank itself has defects, may cause physical explosion during storage. Valves, flanges, pressure gauges, and vaporizers of liquid oxygen storage tanks leaked, and low-temperature liquid oxygen splashed onto personnel’s bodies. No matter what kind of fire and explosion, it may cause harm to the hospital industry, operators and surrounding living environment.
