The vapouriser is commonly known as the “carburetor”. The most important piece of equipment in the fuel supply system of a petrol engine. It is used to vaporise the petrol and form a homogeneous combustible mixture with the air. It is often composed of floats, float chambers, needle valves, throats, fuel injectors and measuring holes. The petrol from the petrol pump enters the float chamber through the inlet, where a needle valve connected to the float is used to control the oil level so that it remains at a certain level. From the float chamber the petrol enters the injection pipe through a measuring hole. The outlet of the injection pipe is about 3-5mm higher than the oil level in the float chamber, which prevents the petrol from spilling out.
