What is a Vane Pump?
The vanes provide a tight seal against the wall of the pumping chamber, preventing fluid from seeping back across the pump. Vane pumps are especially useful for pumping thin liquids under high pressure. The pumps provide low pulsation, precise flows, and reinforced components to resist wear and increase pump life.

Vane pumps are rotational positive displacement pumps. A series of paddle-like vanes installed radially on a cylindrical rotor form a number of compartments in which fluid can be trapped and moved throughout the system.
